Domain Privacy
Individuals or organisations who register a domain name are required to supply contact information, including address and email address, which is stored on the WHOIS database for public viewing. There are ways to remove your contact information from this database and it differs depending on your domain type - please see below for full details.
UK domains (.co.uk, .org.uk or .me.uk)
If you are an individual registering a UK domain you can opt to have your details hidden – The registrant name will still appear but contact details will be hidden. To do this please visit our customer control panel and go to Manage Domain Names. If you are an organisation using a UK domain you cannot hide contact details.
Global domains ( com, .net, .org, .info, .biz or .name)
The option to opt out of WHOIS is not available on Global domain names, however we do offer a domain privacy service where your full details can be hidden for a small annual fee of £5.99. We will provide generic contact information using our domain name identity-secured.com masking your identity.
